Description

With its crisp, slightly sweet leaves, this Austrian lettuce variety is very popular. The leaves go well in a salad with a variety of different dressings and are simply delicious as a refreshing accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes.

Suitable for gardens and greenhouses
Requires nutrient-rich, loose, humus-rich soil
Doesn't bolt even in summer
Water regularly - avoid waterlogging
Harvest before flowering
Sensitive to pressure - harvest carefully by hand
Can be stored for one week if well chilled
