Description
This particularly large carrot has an impressive, bright orange colour, a crunchy bite and is very aromatic. It tastes just as good raw as cooked or as a juice and is a delicious ingredient in a variety of dishes.
Our tips:
- Can be sown outdoors from February to late summer
- Pre-sowing indoors not necessary
- Water little, but regularly
- Requires a deep, loose, humus-rich soil
- Needs enough space to develop
- Temperatures above 25°C are not ideal for growth
- Carrots harvested late can be stored in a cool place in a box with soil and sand until spring
- Watch out for animals above and below ground who like to nibble on these sweet carrots
- Medium consumer of nutrients
- Suitable for balconies
