Description
Gladiolas are part of the family of the Iris family. They are native to southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Madagascar. However, the most colourful plants come from South Africa.
With a height of just under 1.5 m, gladioli can grow quite large. They are evergreens, deciduous plants and are used mainly as ornamental plants.
